About the Ride Director

If you haven’t already communicated with me on Facebook or via Email, then you’ve probably hi-fived me while riding…at least until my hands got all greasy from fixing bikes! 🤣

I’ve been an endurance athlete since 2001, when I began doing triathlons. Since then I have been addicted to anything that gets me outside, under human-power, exploring the world around me. My training and racing has taken me from the Boston Marathon to the Ironman® World Championships in Hawaii, from Austria to Spain, France and beyond. Despite all of that awesomeness, my heart is firmly planted here at home in RI.

Out of college I went straight into the Peace Corps, posted in Uzbekistan. Since then, I’ve been involved in nonprofits and raising awareness for worthy causes as part of my work or athletics.

Brewing Good lives at the intersection of my passions for making a difference and getting more people into endurance sports.

Whether I see you at the Brewing Good Ride or you just pedal by, be sure to say hi!

Best,

Patrick McCrann
